dza_devlesaWarnings: I explore the Holocaust, the concept of selling your soul to the devil, and the subversion of a LOT of religious tropes with Hael. He is built to be controversial, so if you're uncomfortable, PLEASE PLEASE let me know.
Regarding the Holocaust, I make it a priority to explore this piece of our very real history honestly, but with sensitivity and respect to the lives lost and the horror it is. If you are uncomfortable with discussion of it altogether, please let me know so I can leave it out of threads we play together. I will also put an alert in any comment where discussion of that part of his history begins.

Hugging this character: Hael is very easy with casual touch
Kissing this character: He's free with kisses too.
Flirting with this character: Flirting is something of a natural state.
Fighting with this character: He'll rise to what your character puts out, and I love in character conflict, so go for it.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Only the Devil can let him stay injured, so pretty much anything goes, but anything that would come off as permanently maiming on normal humans, gimme a heads up via PM or something.
Killing this character: See above; it'll have to be an overall plot arch to kill him.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Go for it, but none of that is in English or any major language.

Hael’s primary ‘power’ is the fact that, in his native world, he was able to choose a human, take their soul, and internalize it until it could be taken from him by the Devil. The body of the person would disappear, leaving no trace of DNA, and Hael would similarly shed no evidence of his being there. When the Devil came to redeem a soul, he would give Hael the choice of how he could use the boon; he could fix almost any wrong, up to bringing a human back from the dead; after all, once dead, a soul has already been allocated to Heaven or Hell.
All of his other powers are derivative of that, that that he has been giving a power as a boon. The most consistent power he possesses is the ability to tell if someone is knowingly lying; it creates various sour tastes in his mouth if he hears the lie being told. This is only applicable if he is physically in the same place as another person; lies transmitted by television, or text messages, he can’t determine.
Hael knows quite a few languages, but can only read and write in a few of them. He does not remember which ones he does, so if asked, he can’t say; he can’t list them off, and doesn’t know if he can speak or understand a tongue until he hears it.
He does not age, grow sick, starve, or die; he gets tired, and hungry, and thirsty, but he will not suffer truly negative effects from any of these. He feels the warmth and the cold, but can’t be burned, or suffer frostbite. The Devil alone can determine what harms him.
Hael cannot enter places that are considered holy. Churches, synagogues, mosques, and active graveyards are physical barriers to him. Inactive or historical graveyards do not inhibit him.
Hael knows instinctively if someone is not human, but any knowledge of what other things a person could be has been forgotten.
Hael can identify if a person has a soul.
Hael has a pack of cigarettes that he loses after taking every soul. He only ever smokes one cigarette from it, and it smells more like a strangely spiced clove than any normal cigarette; the pack is found by whomever he takes the next soul from, and they always have it on them when he comes for their soul. The pack never empties, and the cigarettes flare to life on their own when he inhales, rather than needing to be lit.

Hael can turn any coin into a ring that will perfectly fit whoever he is giving it to. They are made of whatever the coin was made from, and vary wildly in what they look like. He can only somewhat control what they look like-- color, size-- but the detailing reflects whatever he feels about the person he is giving the ring to.
